RRR chief SS Rajamouli was moved by a 83-year-old Japanese fan's signal for him, and he shared the experience via social media.

Movie producer SS Rajamouli's period activity film RRR, which won an Oscar in 2023, is getting love from everywhere the world, particularly in Japan. Rajamouli, whose film became most elevated netting Indian film in Japan, got a unique gift from a 83-year-old Japanese lady upon his most recent visit. He shared that the fan gifted him north of 1000 origami cranes to wish for great wellbeing for the chief.

Rajamouli posted pictures with the fan and composed on X a tribute to the lady. The post garnered many likes and reposts.

Fans were moved by the lady's gesture, and expressed "love" in the comments.

RRR, which won the Oscar in the best original song segment, broke a few film industry records in Japan. It stays one of the top-netting Indian films ever, with worldwide income surpassing Rs 1200 crore.
