COLOMBO: McDonald's stores across Sri Lanka shut Sunday after the US inexpensive food monster sent off a fight in court with its neighborhood establishment holder over claims of unfortunate cleanliness, court authorities said.

The Business High Court of Colombo requested the terminations until April 4, after the parent organization blamed the nearby establishment holder for neglecting to satisfy worldwide cleanliness guidelines.

"The conclusion was requested forthcoming an examination," a court official said.

He expressed legal counselors for McDonald's let the court know that they had ended an establishment concurrence with nearby organization Abans last week. The meeting is to continue toward the beginning of April.

There was no quick remark either from McDonald's or Abans, who has held the establishment with 12 outlets since the US company's entrance into Sri Lanka in 1998.

Sees were seen external McDonald's outlets on Sunday saying they were "shut" and there was no sign if or when they might return.
